**These photos bring me a profound serenity.**

**They were taken by my father and take some trees including a walnut tree that is beyond the wall of his house.
I want to specify that the images have not been retouched and the shades of colors you see are also absolutely natural.**

**I like to emphasize the perfection of the shapes of the branches...so chaotic but at the same time perfectly balanced.
Just as in every image there is a sublime chromatic harmony, with shades that only nature can invent.**

**This is absolutely my favorite...I love the majestic and spooky figure of this tree, its dry and spiky black branches that stand out against the sky. 
The explosion of colors that blend and give life to the contrast is spectacular, almost as if water was falling down to turn off the setting sun.**

**Such shows are always exciting. These scenarios remind me of my childhood and the lightheartedness of those days.**

**When we still believed that the world was a place made only of positive, welcoming, harmless things.**

**And on those branches we went up to play, we scratched ourselves...we touched them running or cycling when they were low and invading the road.**

**And those clouds were always a bit our enemies, because they warned about rain and would force us to stop playing.**

**But they were also a source of relief in the hot summer afternoons, when they covered the sun and gave us a few minutes of coolness.**

**And then they were so beautiful to look at, because if you stared at them, you saw them move slowly and it seemed a phenomenal magic.**

**And it was nice to dream before going home, close to those branches moved by the wind as the leaden sky turned off its spotlights and transform into an empty stage dominated by the dark twilight, waiting for the lights of a new spectacle, that of the stars, came to light.**

**Happy memories that help a lot on days a bit sad like this, and that bring back to mind those beautiful sensations that everyone encloses within himself in his child's heart.**
