Poached Salmon With Vegetables

<p>I am a big fan of salmon fish.... Ask me why? It could be as a result of its distinctive taste or possibly due to&nbsp;its immense health benefits, but which ever reason, salmon is just the best fish for me. Don't get me wrong, the fact that I love salmon doesn't make me a hater of&nbsp;other fish species, infact I prefer eating more fish than meat because fish is more healthier. For this recipe, I decided to <a href="https://amzn.to/1sPkZ6H"><strong>steam</strong></a> the salmon before finally placing it in the oven. This method of preparation gives the salmon fish a very palatable taste.</p>

<p>Salmon is such type of fish that you can never get tired of consuming because it is uniquely delicious, healthy and without aweful fishy smell. In terms of adoring salmon, my hubby takes the kudos. He dearly likes salmon and this likeness gets him overly ecstatic each time I buy salmon from the supermarket.</p>

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<ul>
  <li>Salmon fish</li>
  <li>1 lemon</li>
  <li>1 fresh tomato</li>
  <li>Carrot</li>
  <li>Cauliflower</li>
  <li>Broccoli</li>
  <li>1 tbs. vegetable oil</li>
  <li>Salt to taste</li>
  <li>1 tbs. dried chives</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Instructions:</strong></h3>
<ol>
  <li>Wash and place the salmon fish in a steamer, season with salt and chives.</li>
  <li>Add the vegetables into same steamer and steam together for 6 mins.</li>
  <li>Afterwards, place the salmon and the vegetables in a foil plate.</li>
  <li>Sprinkle the vegetable oil over the salmon with the vegetables.</li>
  <li>Place in a pre-heated oven of 150-200oC and cook for 6 mins.</li>
  <li>Bring out from oven and serve warm.</li>

I love salmon too.  a favourite way I cook it to eat cold.  Put your salmon steaks in a lidded container with some aromatics of your choice.  Pour over boiling water to completely cover the fish.  Put on the lid and leave to go cold.  Do not remove the lid until the water has cooled down.  Pour off the liquid and fridge until required.  The salmon melts like butter.  Yum, yum, feeling hungry just thinking of it. Thank you for your post. X
