Parodies are a tough genre, and quality agents - those who not only ridicule a movie, but actually add something new and develop the genre - especially in recent years when everything was ruined by "Scary movie" and its derivatives "Romantic", " Epic "and so on. movie, are something less common than a white swallow. And a spy parody is even more rare. The first part of Johnny English is the epitome of what is wrong with parody. In addition to doing nothing about the genre, the film has absolutely no cinematic or any other qualities beyond Rowan Atkinson's performance. Man is an absolute genius of the crazy roles, but in no way can he be a solitary one for salvation and an excuse for the total lack of imagination and intelligent humor in the film.

So, the question arises as to what we can expect from any useless "Johnny English Returns" ? The answer, of course, is not much. If I say that the end result is not so different from the first film, it will not surprise you. To spit on it would be too easy -  look at it as a pointless parody of decoy, apply to it what you think it is right, the movie just will not make sense. For this reason I will not I will not be critical. What I'm going to do is just to say in a few words a few positive elements, which are definitely a glimpse of the overall mediocrity and make me regret that there are no more such intelligent teas, but rely on old jokes.. Aside from the fact that the idea of ​​a corporate sponsor of intelligence is just marvelous - fine and intelligent, and if you think a little interesting things can pop up - it's also associated with some of the funniest moments in the movie when English returns from exile. 

The second is related to an action-packed episode in which English pursues a Chinese agent who, like all of the action films, has been a master of the field in recent years. The agent jumps like a monkey to and fro, while English slowly and methodically (almost like a Terminator) and using doors, stairs and other normal and obvious possibilities is always up to it. Honestly, this moment is great. Extremely irritating is how even the biggest smirk is the master of this sport and its use in movies has become so damn annoying. That's exactly what I meant when I spoke about the intelligent satire of the genre. It is true that there was something similar in Casino Royal, but that was not so ironic and fun.

The last one I want to distinguish is Gillian Anderson, who is marvelous in the role of the boss. My heart hurts that she is filming in such dullness, but on the other hand watching her on screen, even briefly, is a real pleasure. Rosamund Pike is not as bad as Atkinson, of course, but he's clear. So, the movie is stupid and does not carry anything except one or two sporadic moments of laughter. But English fans will be happy because if nothing else, "Johnny English Returns" is better than the first movie - at least there are glimmers. But if you have not seen the first movie and you do not know what to expect, let's say if you fall in the hands of an innocent woman - or the queen - with a backgammon on the head or if she drops and raises with an automatic chair during important meetings, this is your movie.
