SEENI SAMBOL IN SRI LANKA RESPIRE | 10% to SL Charity

Today we look at how to make a delicious meal. It's about onion mix sugar sambols.
Things you need for this.

Sliced onion – 350g
Red chili flakes – 1 ¼ tablespoon
Cooking oil – 4 tablespoons
Sugar – 1 ¼ tablespoon
maldive fish powder 1 tablespoon
Salt – As you need
cinnamon 2 pieces
pandan/ curry leaves 2 pieces

How to make this.. Method ....

1 . Slice the onions as shown in the picture below.

2 . Prepare with chili powder , sugar and salt.

3 . Mix the onion and salt until all combined well. Then place the pan over the stove and cook the salt-mixed-onion under low flame for 3 or 4 minutes. In a halfway through open the lid and give a stir to avoid burning.

4 . Then, add the cooking oil, mix and again cook covered under medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

5 . Now take off the lid and cook uncovered for 3 to 4 minutes under high flame. Stir frequently to avoid burning.

6 . Finally, add the maldive fish powder,sugar, and red chili powder, cinnamon , pandan/ curry leaves , Mix and cook covered under medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

7 . Open the lid, give a good stir, and again cook covered under low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

8 . Make your own Sri Lankan sugar sambol recipe at home and enjoy this delicious and easy sugar sambol bread.
