A location that is far from downtown gayo lues district, aceh province. It takes about 2 hours when using a motorcycle to reach this location. in addition to the way up and down winding, narrow roads and some landslide occur to make us must be extra careful along this hardened black oil.

because the road to the location is still a loose soil, then we leave the motorcycle in the residence of a partner who is not far from this location.

Then we continue with the traditional journey, which is walking. there was no tiredness when we had to walk along the slope of the occasional flat road.

Finally we arrived after a 15 minute leisurely walk.

this is what I call LAKE REREBE, a small lake that has a stunning water color surrounded by fine white sand. In the upper reaches of this small lake there are also waterfalls that swiftly fill the water of this small lake.

I do not know for sure the origin of this small lake, local people say that this is a small artificial lake built around 2011.

waterfalls that irrigate this small lake is still colorful, but blue blue-green color is emerging because of the reflection from the bottom of a small lake in the form of calcareous soil. so if you come to this small lake when the sun is hot and during cloudy or late afternoon, the color will be slightly different.
