## I was spaced out last night watching

I wasn't really coming up with anything interesting, so I decided to abandon all effort and just see what happens. I was actually trying to write something legit with the LABS bass, in Track 1, but I then just put in some chords, and recorded them to an audio track (Track 4). This chord progression is weird, and the bass sound was garbage, so I pitched up the audio an octave, and played around with the formants, and added the Valhalla Supermassive delay/reverb combo thingy. I then added an 808 for no reason, in Track 2, which is bounced to audio in Track 3. I initially was going to just add weird synths, but after playing around with some drums, I decided to actually add a drum pattern, though at this point I knew it had to be weird or silly in some way to fit the vibe, lol.</div>

## I then added a drum kit from that Steven Slate demo I've

This is recorded in Track 5, and although I like it a lot, the low-end was lost quite a bit, so I added one of the drum kits included in Native Instruments Komplete Start package (totally free too). This just adds a snare and kick, so the pattern is a little more obvious. The weird flangey sort of drum hits are from that Portalized kit. Tracks 7, 8 and 9 were all little loops made in Nerve, though Track 9 is the only 'normal' drum sound, adding the hats. Tracks 7 and 8 were weird sounds in the 'Vox' kit, which I tweaked by altering the sample, pitch and the pattern. One of these sounds like a Yoshi, which wasn't intentional, but added the goofy for sure. Track 10 is another keyboard from that Hybrid Keys pack I got for free a week or two ago, which was recorded to audio, reversed, and chopped up. It adds the little dissonant fill at the start of some sections. Finally, we have Track 11, which plays along with that pitched up bass, adding a warbly keyboard. Overall, a weird, kinda dumb idea, but I had fun haha.</div>
