In his teenage years, he was inspired by artists like <b>Aphex Twin</b> to explore the more complex sounds of microtonal music, and has dived into that world headfirst.  He is known for using all kinds of strange, out there tuning systems, which he accomplishes in DAW's and through the use of an isomorphic keyboard, which can utilize more than just our typical 12 tone equal tempered system.  When you listen to <b>Sevish</b>, initially, things will feel strange and out of tune, as we are just so enculturated to hear our music in the context of 12, equally spaced notes.  However, if you can allow yourself to get past that, you can begin to hear the details a bit more, and the different emotions and 'vibes' that can be invoked through these more out-there intervals.  This song is from his brand new album, <i>Bubble</i>, which came out this year.  It is written in '22edo', 22 equal divisions of the octave, which takes the octave (normally divided into 12 equal notes), and divides it 22 times!  It also uses odd meters, switching between 10/4 and 4/4.  Hope you dig it!</div>
