쌍어
쌍어, 두 마리 물고기이다. 떡 다섯 개만 더해지면 오병이어가 될 수 있다. 오병이어의 기적이 필요한 곳이 주변에 많다. 사람의 힘으로 해결할 수 없는 상황이 신의 능력으로 해결되기를 기대하는 상황과 사람이 많이 있다. 사람이 손 놓고 있을 수 없지만 손을 놓지 않는다 하여도 어쩔 도리가 없는 상황이 있다.

날씨가 쌀쌀해지면 붕어빵이 인기다. 할머니가 포장마차를 사거리 옆에 세워 놓고 오전부터 저녁까지  붕어빵을 판다. 팥과 슈크림, 두 종류 붕어빵이 쉴새 없이 팔린다. 지나다가 보면 사람들이 줄지어 서서 붕어빵을 사 간다. 추운 날씨가 붕빵의 제철인 모양이다. 날씨가 쌀쌀해져야 붕어빵의 맛을 돋구는 것처럼 보인다. 여름철에 붕어빵을 판다는 말을 들어 보지 못했다. 날씨와 밀접한 관련이 있어 보인다. 

어떤 결정을 할 때 고려해야 할 요소 중 하나가 기상이다. 날씨가 기획과 계획의 성공과 실패를 결정하는 요인이 될 수 있다. 역사적인 사례를 보더라도 기상에 따라 성공과 실패가 좌우되는 것을 많이 본다. 일이 크든 작든 기상은 항상 고려해야 할 중요한 요소다. 그나저나 그 할머니 붕어빵 장사로 많은 돈을 벌어서 노후가 더 편안해지기를 바란다.
