Like @teamsteem said _"I'm not 100% for or against the project"_. Ideal situation is that every user would choose content they like and vote for it manually using his own Steem Power. However: - we are unable to get rid of bots (and after all, bot's votes are at some point defined by humans) - it's unlikely for big investors to sit in front of their computers and curate (usually they are big investors not because they spent their time on social media sites) Your idea about internal Steem Power delegation market is interesting (and IMHO much better) but is it really much different than this project? Look at the bright side: every initiative on Steem is some value added. If WhaleShares project is bad for this platform it would just not survive in a long run. We already have too much drama about other people's voting, not voting, counter-voting, downvoting. Instead of flagging what you don't like, go and find something that you do like. Good luck :-)

I agree with you @gtg but not on the flagging part. I think flagging is an integral part of Steem and as with everything there are benefits and risks to flagging which everyone must evaluate.

It's not that I think that flags are bad. Like I wrote in my [Fun with Flags](https://steemit.com/steemit/@gtg/fun-with-flags) post; >_"It is actually an upvote... but the other way around ;-)"_ Negative votes are integral part of Steem, I agree on that. Yes, we need them to "get rid" of spammers or other abusers. What I mean is that we don't need all that drama around them.
