Canal Street Doorway NYC
As local & national economies 'change' (euphemism for tank)  NYC is now chock full of abandoned buildings, for sale properties & boarded up real estate. 

Canal St is one of the most evident examples of how many businesses have folded & left Gotham City in the past year.

 And as you probably know, if a building, or anything for that matter, sits for too long in NYC, it quickly gets transformed into a canvas for writers / graffiti artists
