### New York City, New York | Istanbul, Turkey | Cape Town, South Africa | Harare, Zimbabwe | Livingstone, Zambia | Lusaka, Zambia | Tunduma, Tanzania | Arusha, Tanzania | Istanbul, Turkey | Nazaré, Portugal
#### 7 flights, 5 buses, 92 hours spent traveling, stayed the night in 10 different hostels and slept in 3 airports.
### 3,000 photographs captured.
I love photographing my travels as well as sharing my experiences with you. Unfortunately I found that when I include multiple photos in a post, they tend to take quite some time to load and no one appreciates lag time. So I present to you my Photo of the Day!


This is a photo I took from a small rubber dingy on the Zambezi River. Although September isn't the time of the year when the falls are flowing at maximum capacity, being able to take a tour on the great Zambezi River, swim in the circling currents and experience the falls from below, was one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Don't worry, of course I took a seat in the Devil's Pool right at the edge of the falls, I'll be posting a video of that experience later!

These adventures of your are pretty incredible. I always admire travelers and hope to one day join your ranks, myself.

These photos are stunning and I'm glad you shared them, but I'm also pretty interested in the trip you take to get there. Long flights, airplanes, etc. Maybe a Youtube slideshow would be a good solution for multiple photos?

Hi @heiditravels, great post, I love the shot! I just thought I would mention if you are having issues with lag time and you want to include more photos in your posts steemimg by @blueorgy has a great built in shortcut to show medium sized photos after you upload them. There are also a few great programs like jpeg mini that will decrease the size of your photos and make them a lot easier to load. I do a lot of photo centric posts so I've had to overcome this issue myself. Anyhow hope you are well and enjoying your travels!
