I just love all these crypto projects that are going to crack the traditional big business monopolies wide open. My only fear is that once they realise what's happening they'll start fighting back.  The again maybe they're so comfortable they won't see it coming.

They are already fighting back, in various ways. Here in Washington state, my Poloniex account was shut down because the state is having "difficulties" tracking the taxes owed on marijuana (which is legal here) and consider cryptos a "risk" because people cheat by using them as payment. So they make mega complex and expensive regulations for the crypto exchanges...
