## Submit Yourselves to God.

**JAMES 4:7--10**
> _**7 Submit yourselves, then, to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.**_
Beloved, it truly pays to humble and draw near to God. For God, Himself will draw near to you and lift you up. Be more concerned about those things that brings praises to God. Are you desires and motives godly inclined? Being a friend to the world makes you an enemy of God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from thee. Resist the desire for self and personal gratifications. Resist the urge for worldly pleasures. Don't be proud but rather umble yourself before God at all times both in the open and in your closet.
**Prayer**
O' Lord, please grant me the grace to humble myself before you and to submit to your will at all times in Jesus' name... _(**AMEN**!)_
