Song of the Day - Lightning by Svarog
Got a rare DJ gig coming up here in 2 weeks which means I am in heavy track digging mode here. Expect a lot of techno in the next coming days as I prepare for this gig. 

Today's track comes from Ukraine artist Svarog who I'm not exactly familiar with, but this release has my attention for sure. This track is less of a relentless stormer than it is a slow burning atmospheric take on the genre. With droning atmospheres and a relentless darkness to it, there is something unsettling about the tune that I really dig. The tune really floats by on its atmosphere creating a hypnotic groove that is more for the afterhours crowd. One of those tunes that I'm really looking forward to playing. Just solid sound design and an unearthly throb to it.
