**More evidence against Mike**

Kathleen Peterson made all the money in the family as an Engineering Executive (Duke University Engineering Grad) in Corporate America working for a DotCom. She worked for Nortel and traveled the world as part of her job. Her net worth on paper was almost $2 MILLION. She owned the cars, the house (valued at $925K in 2002), and had a large 401K and pension plan. Kathleen helped pay the college tuition of 3 of the kids, none of which were hers. Mike did not pay a dime towards their tuition's. Mike and the kids all mooched off her salary and wealth. Mike was a bum (a legend in his own warped mind) who had not worked in years, he had $140K in credit card debt, owed $78K in back taxes to the IRS, and only had a small military pension.

When that big house needed pressure washing, Kathleen did it by herself. Not Mike or any of those able bodied kids.  

Mike was also the sole beneficiary to Kathleen's $1.4 MILLION dollar life insurance policy as well as her entire estate (valued at $2 MILLION). Which is why all those weird kids kissed his ass and fawned over him in the documentary like the controlling and over bearing (and I believe abusive) father that he was. They wanted their cut of their proceeds and did not want to believe he was a serial killer.
