### "Sare Jahan see Accha Hindostan Hamara"
Over the last several years I have been blogging on Steem and its other forks. I have enjoyed my time here, and I made a lot of friends, but I always felt that something was missing here, and now I know what was missing; a good Indian community.
There are hundreds of communities here but there are very few Indian communities and the crypto ban in India had a negative impact on all Indian bloggers.
I really thank the admins of this community for starting a community dedicated to Indians. I love the idea of an Indian community for Indians started by Indians.
## Proud Indian
If you know me then you surely know how proud I am of my country and I have always tried to serve my motherland in any way I can.
India is a huge country with hundreds of languages, cultures, religions, and not to forget the different cuisine each part has developed for thousands of years.
I think this community can be a good platform for me to share all the knowledge about India that I have gathered over the last several years.
## My short Intro
### Helping a Saint plant a tree. I have the rare distinction of being blessed by Sufis, Saints, Policemen, and Educationalists.
My name is Imran Soudagar and I am a writer by profession, a poet by passion and I plant trees to make my country cleaner and greener. Over the last few years, my team and I have planted at least 10,000 trees in my city and I have organized more than 150 environment awareness programs that were attended by thousands of people between the age groups of 8 to 80.
## Conclusion
Lastly, I want to thank the admins for starting this community and I will try to write and share posts about India so that people around the world will get to appreciate the beauty of one of the greatest countries in the world.
