There is a lot of oil and gas in our part of Colorado. With that oil and gas comes a lot of money and a lot of big companies. One of those companies was sold a few years ago and the owners decided to take their money and invest it in Greeley. They have bought up something like 32 large properties along a stretch called 8th Ave with is a main road in the 100,000 person town. 

They have torn down most of the properties they bought and plan to build large apartments with retail space on most of the parcels. I happened to buy a rental property last week that is right across the street from one of these lots. It is a restaurant and empty now, but we hope to rent it to another restaurant soon.

The properties that are right across from mine will have retail space, apartments, and a food truck court! It should be fairly cool and is supposed to be done in 2020.
