The Grace (in Russian Blagodat' - "Благодать") is a replica of an 18th-century ship of the line. It is located in St. Petersburg, Russia, at Petrovskaya Embankment. They write that this 130-gun ship (the original, of course)) was inferior in power only to the Spanish "Santisima Trinidad", and after the sunk of the latter in the Battle of Trafalgar, it became the largest warship in the world for several years. Behind it we see the Trinity Bridge, and on the left in the frame the  dome of St. Isaac's Cathedral is noticeable. I have a lot of photos of this ship, but recently I decided to take pictures of the sun entangled in its rigging.

And in the second picture, Shih tzu. This is one of the Chinese guardian lions presented by the governor of the city of Jilin to the Russian General Grodekov at the very beginning of the XX century. Grodekov decided to give them to St. Petersburg and he paid his own money to transportate them.
