On the occasion of this afternoon I will share photos and explain a little description of the leaves of betel plants that are used when performing traditional and cultural events.

Betel leaves grow a lot both in the garden and in the homes of residents. The leaves of this plant are carefully chosen and wise as the leaf of choice to display the impression of beauty and glory. Then this betel leaf is arranged or made to resemble a tropy by women and adult women as an artistic creation in supporting regional culture when there is an event related to the traditional theme.

Why should betel leaves be chosen?
What is clear is that all of this has its own meaning from the philosophy of this betel leaf. Therefore, this betel leaf is chosen to be assembled. Can't the leaves of other plants. Of course betel leaf has its own meaning behind the shape and color and properties.

As an ingredient used to strengthen the standing elements of this series of betel leaves, then in the middle there is a small size banana bud which is still leafy. Leafy banana shoots also have their own philosophical meanings.

Then there is one more activity, namely a series of betel leaves that have been formed with the shape of any object that is placed on top of dulang or similar media that can be upheld. This bone is a kind of container made of copper with round legs like silender or tube. This bone is also one of the media or objects as a traditional tool of society in Aceh
