Hi everyone, Good afternoon from my end, it’s another day for me to complete my crypto task 2, I really appreciate the fact that this platform have made it possible for the users to learn about crypto currency and also earn rewards from attempting to answer the task. It’s very rare to be rewarded with crypto by just answering questions and also after learning which is a two way benefits.
Today I’m writing about the **Steem** and **Tron** which is the topic for the Task two of the introductory courses.

**WHAT IS PoB**
The initial PoB means Proof of Brain. PoB truly signifies the ability to create a content on the steemit platform being a social media platform that gives the users revenue of quality articles published by them.

It also have some features like:
**<center>Reward Pool</center>**This isn’t the conformation of fresh new tokens that just occur on the steem Blockchain. It’s used for monetizing of contents and curations.
Reward pools have a constant rate of only 3 seconds to gather tokens which gives a total of 65% reward to the curators and authors as a result of the **Proof of Brain** shares. The freshly minted tokens are the referred to as the reward pool.
**Upvote-** this when the upward arrow button is being touched which circulates the rewards which shows in the post with subject to the voting weight and the stake weight(the percentage of the vote given by the curator).

**Downvotes-** This isn’t the action taken by clicking the down arrow button in the authors post, it reduces the rewards earned and it depends on the downvoting power of the curator.
**<center> What does curation mean to you in steem blockchain</center>**Curation in steem block chain can only take place when an author creates a post and the curators reads through it, confirming it source of content against plagiarism and reporting if any is found, getting to see the value it adds to the reader, and upvoting if it’s useful. It is also when a useful content is being resteemed to a blog which allows the followers of the blog to see the post as important and curating.
The curators in this aspect are those that finds a content on the steemit platform useful and helpful and then casting votes to support the quality content created by the Author.
Curation starts immediately when a content is being published, read and found useful by the curators, it then determines the quantity of upvoting power to be given by the curators depending on the content quality.
It takes seven (7) consecutive days for a particular content to payout the rewards obtained by the curators in form of reputation and crypto tokens (steem and TRX).
**<center>WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BUILDING STEEM POWER </center>** The influence power on steemit network isn’t the SBD but precisely the steem powered up by the user. The higher the steem powered by the user the more influential the user becomes.
On steemit Network, the users with the high steem power get more reward favor in terms of curation and post payouts.
Users with greater influence power gets more and more payouts after a post pays out in the reward pool in sharing the reward pool of PoB.
They get the ratio of 1:1 of the rewards (1SP:1TRX) in rewards for the activities in steemit network.
A total of 32.5% curation rewards to the users with high SP, high SP holders makes it easy to become more influential and gets more followers.
**<center>HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN SELF-UPVOTE AS A GOOD AND BAD SOCIAL BEHAVIOR AND WHY.</center>**
In General, the term self-upvotes is defined as the act which the content creator (author) takes part in upvoting the same content published by them which shows that they’ve found quality for themselves and choose to upvote the content without the curator or readers to decide how much quality the content carries.
From this very definition of self-upvotes, it’s therefore considered a wrong habit in the steemit blockchain and needs to be abstained from, authors who create post shouldn’t decide their post quality as it’s not ethical to do so.
My reasons for accepting this act as a bad habit is that.
* Steemit Network is designed to allow other users to decide the quality of the content published by the author, and then upvoting the content to support the author and to make them feel encouraged to write more quality post. This act makes the platform more active and social in the sense that the users gets rewarded for uploading quality contents.
* The term social media platform isn’t just about earning rewards but also it stands as a platform to raise each other, giving out quality ideas about life and state of well being, with all this supports, the platform tends to grow even more faster
* For the fact that the rewards earned are divided into 2categories (Author and curation) it makes the platform more useful with the fact that both the curators and the authors get rewarded at the end of the post payout. It’ll be a partial act if only one tends to get rewarded in this case.

**<center>WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TOKENS EARNED BY SOCIALIZING ON THE STEEM PLATFORM </center>**
Once a post pays out, it’s taken 7 days to get the tokens mature for payout and There are 3 different tokens earned on the steemit network, it’s as a result of creating a good content and being curated that you can earn this tokens.
* SBD
* STEEM
* SP
**SBD:**The acronym SBD is well known as Steem Dollar, it’s the highest in value in the steem network. If the post curation didn’t up-to 0.002 SBD then it’s considered a void curation and no reward is given.
**STEEM:** This isn’t earned for being curated and when a post pays out after seven days. The author may earn SP and SBD depending on its debt ratio or Steem and SP (steem power) which also depends on the debt ratio. The author is also entitled to earn all the tokens STEEM,SBD and SP depending on the payout ratio.
**SP**: This is earned after post pay out and also the author can decide to power up the available liquid steem earned or buy with the SBD earned to make a power up.
**<center>HOW WOULD YOU USE YOUR TRX EARNED ON STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN TO OPTIMIZE EARNING IN TRON ECOSYSTEM</center>**
Tron (TRX) is the local token that’s built on the Tron network which have an important role in their ecosystem. A user that holds tron TRX can optimize his role and benefit an installment by pleasantly deciding to mine in sun.io
Also be aware that liquidity mining gives the user an installment on the exchange rate. Therefore staking your available LP tokens you’re entitled to also mine the SUN tokens.
I purchase the right of earning TRX and linking it to My tronlink wallet and get it freezed so it accumulates. As it is used globally and it’s growing everyday, the earned tron I saved (freezed) keeps accumulating.
