Let's face it.  2018 was a bad year for anyone involved with crypto unless you were carefully and cautiously playing the bear market.....and most of us weren't doing that.

Now I've been involved with some projects that didn't work out too well,  but I was pretty sure that Bitcoin, ETH, BNB, ADA, and Steem were sure bets.

 I still do think that those coins are sure bets,  because I still do think that the cryptocurrency world is in its infancy and that the rest of the world is going to take notice of it before long.

Anyone that invested money in Bitcoin or a similar project at the beginning of 2017 did pretty well assuming that they took some of those profits.

Some people said _I wish I had gotten in when prices were lower._

Well guess what? Prices are lower now.

Anyone that was capable of buying a full Bitcoin at the end of 2017 would have been kind of loaded. $20,000 for one Bitcoin?

Now one Bitcoin can be had for $3,500.

 I remember when Steem was a quarter last year.

Then it very quickly rose up to a dollar,  and then $2,  and then down to $0.88,  and then up to $8,  and then hovered around $4 for good part of the year of 2018.

Well now it's a quarter again.

I still think the bear market is going to continue for a little while longer,  although it is possible that there will be a giant rush of profit at the end of 2018. 

Who can really say for sure? 

However,  I think the bear market is going to continue for a little bit longer and that we are going to see even better prices on these coins.

It's a great idea to buy at the current prices though,  because I'm confident everything is going to rise up before too much longer.

You might consider dollar cost averaging by putting in a small amount every week for the next couple of months.

 I think the best way to do this is to buy USDC on Coinbase because it is pegged at $1 and you don't have to worry about actually losing money that way.

USDC -> LTC -> Bittrex -> Steem -> Steemit

USDC -> LTC -> Binance -> EOS -> Wallet

Something like that.

Of course you might have a better way.

 I find it fun to look all the different prices and think about what the future holds for cryptocurrency and how it is so cheap right now that we are all capable of getting a great deal.
