Do you wish you had consolidated most of your funds in Bitcoin instead of alt coins? Well I do. At least for now because bitcoin continues to look good while the alt coins are not. The main issue though isn't the alt coin stumping so much as it is the issue of steem dropping down the list. Most of the coins have dropped together but steem has actually gone down several places. Some suggested this steem could fall all the way down to 0. https://media.giphy.com/media/5Yt4yAH775O3wckR4f/giphy.gif _Giphy_ hat is an uncomfortable thought. I wonder what new thing EOS is supposed to come out with in June. They said they're coming out with something that's going to change everything. Is it a blogging platform like ours? I don't know. I do know that it will not be good if we can't start to fix our place in the market. I remember when we were in the 20s now it is not too hard to think of us reaching the 60s. It's pretty frustrating because every time I think things are going to workout they just kind of smack us in the face. $0.36 for each steem once again. Wwe were there before but Bitcoin was also in $3000 range... now it is trying to break out but it is not taking alt coins with it and it is definitely not taking steem with it. I can only hope we don't fall farther .

Well we are 3 weeks into the upturn so its kind of early in what will likely be a 2 year bull market to throw in the towel. Steem has not made the much talked about golden cross of its 50 day and 200 day moving average. There is no technical proof as far as I know, that Steem is out of a bear market yet. Will Steem come out of the doldrums and start up? I am betting yes. But it could be months, later this year or early next. I, for one ,will be buying if Steem gets close to .30 again.

Any thoughts on steemit 2.0 that EOS is planning on coming out with possibly in June?

If everyone heads over to EOS, then the last one out the Steemit door should turn out the lights. EOS will probably get a bounce from their "steemit 2.0" roll out and I am sure we will have weeks of post after post of how much better the new platform is to Steemit. Steemit has certainly given shining examples of what not to do that could be followed. But in the end EOS will have to do what Steemit does only better and solve the problems Steemit hasn't or won't or they will be in the very same place in a few years. Steemit will have to do what it takes to compete, or watch its stakeholders sell out at head to the greener pastures. Thats always what happens when there is competition that promises to do things better. It's always compete or die.

Steem will survive and too much liquid Steem on the market at the moment. Posted using [Partiko Android](https://partiko.app/referral/chesatochi)

It may fall more as people consolidate to other top coins like you suggested with Bitcoin but I do think it will survive overall. I'm sure eventually Bitcoin will see a new ATH followed by new ATH's in alt coins. There are definitly cycles with crypto. I think there is a large enough user base for Steem to survive the long term. Just my opinion though. Who knows really ???
