I recently saw the documentary in which they talk about the sexual abuses that were committed against girls in the US Olympic Gymnastics team, I didn't imagine that something like that could happen, much less considering the development of such a country.

The one who committed such aberrations, such abuses, was the *"doctor in charge of the girls' health "*. That taking advantage of his position and their naivety, he took advantage for more than 15 years of hundreds of them, and this is not the worst, but the organization in charge of *"training the Olympic team "* knew about it, and they always kept quiet about it, which makes the situation even more aberrant.
There are implications even from the **FBI**, some members who hid information of denunciations, delayed processes, among many other things, apparently there were bribes so that this would not be made public. This particular situation made me think many things. All this problem was made evident by the denunciations exposed by the great athlete Simone Bile, who for mental health reasons did not continue with her participation in the **Tokyo2020** Olympics, despite being the great favorite.
**How is it possible that in this beautiful sport there could be such a terrible background in the team with the most important performance, hundreds of lives disrupted by the actions of an institution that should rather support them in every possible way, but the opposite happened. This is a clear example that sport is not only about the physical, but there are many more things involved, such as the **Mental Health** of the athletes.
When an elite athlete, such as Simone Bile, was not able to continue her participation in the highest level of sport due to mental affectation, this is what all the abuse she had suffered implied for her. It is very unfortunate that such things have happened.
