If I am not mistaken, in order to get an account via Steemit's faucet sign-up, one must first present a valid phone number and an email-address.

The fact that one needs to buy another SIM card just to get an account requires a lot of effort and for what? A $0.00065 upvote? For reference, in order to get an upvote worth of $0.001, one must first create 15 accounts! I for one think it's not worth it.

As for people who are using multiple delegated steem accounts to upvote their main account, well as much as I hate seeing those kind of doings, it is their stake and they can do whatever they want with it. It is up to the community to flag/downvote them if they are posting spammy/trashy contents (though very subjective).

So yeah I think I am very neutral on this one. I myself have an alt account used solely for testing new Steem platforms out. I'm also planning to have an account solely for doing videos or dtube.
