We are in a perilous time as the world has gone into quarantine mode due to the COVID-19 situation, most business are ginding to a halt and the city is a ghost town, there is fear all over. Movement is restricted and life is never the same again. we are adjusting to the new normal as we try to figure out what next. My friend runs a business and he has been hard hit since there are no customers and some of the goods he sells are perishable. Business has been hit hard as most of them have closed or are in the verge of closing. Most of the goods we sell are imported and there is nothing coming in. The flowere industry and the tourism industry are the ones hit the hardest.    Technology is the biggest winner of the this times since most people are working from home. internet subscription has gone up with most companies adding new clients everyday. i see a lot of activities online and most of my friends are now chatting like never before. Churches who had shurn online services and online broadcast are now embracing it. Yesterday nearly all churches were empty with most forced to stream their services online to their members The mobile money and mobile wallet have taken over as people are buying and selling via online platforms and paying via online money or online wallets. most organisations are not taking cash since we were caution over this.
