# IT HAD TO BE DONE
## After our last truck's engine began having problems a new one was going to have to be found. 
## This is NOT what I was hoping for, as money has become pretty tight at my place. But if the homestead is going to be built we are going to need a workhorse to move materials and do some of the hard work.
## I looked online at dozens of different truck looking for a used one that was in good shape. It took a little over a week before i found what I was looking for.

## She is a 2001 Ford F250 Lariat 4x4. She is in beautiful condition with almost no rust and almost everything on her worked. I went and checked out the truck and took it for a short test drive and knew right away it was the truck I wanted.
## After giving the young man $7,000 and a handshake the truck was mine. This was two days before Thanksgiving this year. After buying it, we all jumped in and drove it home, excited at the new possibilities of what this meant for the homestead.
# SOME REPAIRS
## Upon purchasing the truck, I knew it was going to need some work. Of this was, the rear brake pads and left rear caliper had to be replaced. The rear springs we're also broken and will need replaced. I also did an oil change on the truck so that I would know it was fresh. about a month after buying it, the exhaust manifold bolt broke on the passenger side and I had to replace the studs the gasket and the nuts.
## After the first initial amount of work that was needed was done, the truck seems to be doing great and we are truly thankful for having it. I believe it will make a lot of the work at the homestead a whole lot easier and more obtainable.
