# Bitcoin is very likely on the verge of a massive move up With the last halving cycle as our guide, we can see that a big move up is likely in the very near future. Back in 2016 it took bitcoin 234 days to start really moving up. 161 days post halving bitcoin started the move that eventually took the price to new all time highs. From there, it took another 73 days for bitcoin to see new all time highs. Using similar logic this time around, we would see new all time highs in bitcoin before this year ends.
