# Will they or won't they?

The answer to that seems to be 'will they', though I guess anything could happen.

As it stands right now both branches of the government are set to vote on covid-19 pandemic relief assistance.

I refuse to call it stimulus at this point because it won't be doing any stimulating judging the size and scope of the current proposals.

It will simply help people avoid becoming homeless and starving in the streets.

There are several proposals on the table, one being around $900 billion and another around $1.4 trillion.

For all of his faults, and there are many, at least Donald has been pushing hard to get people checks.

The vast majority of these programs don't even do what they are intended to, they don't put money in the pockets of the people that need it most.

The best way to do this is to write people checks and Donald gets that:

While this won't be much of a stimulus, it will give people some breathing room.

If people can't pay their bills or pay for food, they sure as heck won't be buying bitcoin and crypto.

The sooner we can get past this depression for a large portion of our country, the sooner we can see another surge higher in crypto.

It likely won't happen until the second pandemic relief package comes, which is probably going to happen early in 2021, but it will happen either way.

It sounds like this next one is coming within the next few days as lawmakers have vowed to not go home for the holidays until they get a deal done.

Nothing motivates people more than taking away their vacation!
