The moment I’m done sharing my blog post throught smartphone about the [throwback picture of my dog named Lyka/Lyca](https://busy.org/@josephace135/throwback-picture-of-lyca-lyka), I immediately switched to my netbook to check if the photo that was posted in the aforementioned post is rotated by 90 degree or in other words rotated counterclockwise since it has been my struggle the past month that everytime I post pictures in either busy.org or in Steemit the photos that are being taken thru my smartphone always result to rotation of the image counterclockwise. Thankfully, when I checked it the photo was okay and not rotated which give me some sort of relief.

Afterwards, when I noticed that there’s a notification I mean a number found in the tab for “Discord”, I quickly clicked the tab to check if someone is having a DM on me or maybe some sort a notification for which everyone is being tagged for an announcement or whatsoever.  Upon clicking the tab, the notification came from the Utopian-io Discord server and it was in the announcement channel and when I clicked it, I found out that it was the weekly update for the Staff-Picked Contributions from each category in Utopian. Upon reading the contents, I was so shocked that I’m included again among the contributors whose contribution  were selected by the community managers. It was my second time that my contribution in bug-hunting category was picked. And I’m thankful to the insights of the moderators of the said category. I have to be honest, the category was there when translation category was halted in March, but I was so reluctant to contribute since I’m an iOS device user and there are only a few open source projects that run on iOS at that time. Thankfully, when I heard of @esteemapp being an open-source application built on Steem blockchain and at the same time a whitelisted project in Utopian-io, I did made some maneuvers to the app by using its functionalities to check if its working properly or not. Thankfully, I was able to contribute bug reports for both the web version of eSteem which is the eSteem Surfer and the mobile version eSteem Mobile. Additionally, I’ve people in that said category which are very approachable, well they are many to mention. Actually there is a great feeling of happiness when you got to help project owners in finding some bugs, though as of this moment I still can’t pinpoint errors in the scripts/codes.

As time passes by, there are many applications that are being built on Steem blockchain which are open source and I do believe that many open source projects would be onboarded to @utopian-io’s VIPO roles for Project Owners. 

And with that, I encouraged everybody to do the same, like what happened when Steem blockchain was frozen for hours, I read a chat in Utopian discord server or maybe somewhere which states that “Steemit is on beta, find more bugs to prevent those situations from happening again”. And to be honest, it was that message that inspired me in looking for potential bugs, and thankfully I noticed in [busy.org that the effective SP is not shown when doing a power down](https://busy.org/@josephace135/busy-org-2-5-0-effective-sp-not-shown-doing-a-power-down). At first, I thought it was a bug from the SteemPlus chrome plug-in since that time I was using the plug-in for busy.org but since I doubted it, I disabled the plug-in and check again if the effective SP is shown when doing a power down and still the result was it is indeed not showing the effective SP. Thereby confirming the bug, it is confusing to users especially those that are delegating part of their SP to accounts be it a community account or not, since they would think “what happen to the SP that I delegated?”.

Well, it was a minor issue and was so thankful that the developers in busy.org were so quick to fix the bug and I can see how dedicated they are in making the users of busy.org feel the convenience in using that blogging site.
