Subjectivity Matters

<center>**My proposal in my blog is not only to post my photos, the photos of reality where I live and I see and, but rather to reflect on them. Often, or half the time, it will be a nonsensical reflection, without nexus, that only I who have been there, lived the situation, saw the people and photographed I know what this reflection means and this is normal. I remember a phrase that says: "The objective of the camera records the subjectivity of the photographer." This is what has always fascinated me and fascinates so far in photography that it is the camera to record all the subjectivity that is not exclusive to the photographer, but of any professional that works or produces any type of art**.</center>

<center>**Subjectivity is defined as judgment that varies from person to person. What I see, you do not see. What you see, I don't see. It is also the best concept for what we call and know how beauty. The concept of beauty is extremely subjective, the tastes of each person, the preferences of each of us is subjective. This reflection is interesting because it coincides precisely with my belief that photography is one of the few 100% individualistic professions, where the individual (the photographer) is a key part of his creation and only he can see the value in each photo that he records**.</center>

<center>**So for me it's not much important get much praise from people to my photo. Yes, I stay very grateful and honored when I see that someone really appreciated and liked that image that I reproduced, but at the same time I stay very grateful and I don't care when a person criticizes or doesn't like (In the case here of Steemit, do not vote in my posts of photography) for, subjectivity exists precisely for this**.</center>

<center>I remember a phrase from Ayn Rand, a great female precursor of Objectivism  philosophy who said:</center>

This is so true. When I click a photo, sometimes I know what the photo signifies and its easy to caption it. When the photo has no discrete meaning but can have multiple interpretations, I like to leave it to the viewers who can choose to relate to it and come up with their own understanding of the photo. Great post btw:).

I really like the idea of photography and subjectivity... we see that the camera captures exactly what is there, and still what is the *reason* we took the picture? Most likely we had an experience; we wanted to capture a moment and how it felt; perhaps to use the image as an "emotional souvenir" that can refresh what we were feeling in the moment.
