Without a doubt, autumn is a good season to remember. It may not be the best, but I know that at least it conceals it very well, to the point of appearing so. Like leaves that sway at the slightest hint of breeze, thoughts acquire the dimension of those soap bubbles that flooded the subtle worlds of a good man, let's give him the surname Machado, just to give him a relevant example and fluttering with imperious rebellion, reject the physical barrier of the locks, abandoning the carcassed bars of the Semper fidelis and nostalgic trunk of memories. They become, comparatively speaking, prisoners trapped and mercilessly reduced by the bloodhounds of prose.

Following the example of the stork, and passing by, Torreandaluz appears, six kilometres further on, as a Mohammedan jaima stretched out among the fine sands of the desert. Beyond the little houses with white façades and red tejaroz -some displaying symbols that were already paradigms since the dawn of times-, you can see, close to that point where the road continues, turning its back on the village like a river that goes away until it fuses with the sea, the church tower. 
This is the parish church of Santo Domingo de Silos, and from it a small but interesting Romanesque route begins. Despite the degree of remodelling or deterioration of its temples, it nevertheless provides a multitude of interesting details.

It is true, on the other hand, that in this parish of Torreandaluz, other moods were conjugated that, foreseeably in the seventeenth century, ended up modifying it almost completely. From such a performance, the main cover barely survives. A splendid façade, by more signs, which never ceases to surprise, firstly, by its voluminous constitution, which probably denotes the large of the original Romanesque temple that housed it, and secondly, by the interesting elements, although scarce, that it still contains.

Apart from the Jaqués-style chess that is evident in one of its archivolts, these elements are none other than the various historic capitals, whose painstaking work and theme attract powerful attention. In them, it is not difficult to appreciate this knightly struggle, similar to that of the other in which the pilgrim in Estella usually fixes himself and going towards the church of San Pedro de la Rúa, notices in the Palace of the Kings of Navarre.

But possibly, because of the perfection of his work, because of the balance of his figures and perhaps because, after all, music and dance have always been of capital importance since the dawn of time, the capital of musicians and dancers could even be considered as little less than unique in the province.
