#### Introduction
*Health is Wealth* so goes a popular maxim. Looking at this phrase, one might start to wonder the meaning and the reason for such thought. There is a level of deepness in the meaning of this saying as if a little thought is put into it, one would easily realize that without good health, humans can not do the activities to amass wealth.
Health is a very important thing to human, and without having a good one human beings will be useless, unable to do or achieve anything and ultimately die. One of the major health problems being faced by humans today has to do with body weight issues.
Body weight tells us a lot about the state of human health, being too thin or being overweight could be very dangerous and needs to be monitored. But how do we keep track of measurements and know whether we are underweight, overweight or ideal weight? This is done by BMI calculation.

The BMI calculation is the process of quantifying the amount of tissue mass (muscle, fat, and bone) in an individual by using the body mass and body height values, and then proceed to categorize that person as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese based on the value obtained from the result. The BMI is an attempt to quantify the amount of tissue mass (muscle, fat, and bone) in an individual, and then categorize that person as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese based on that value. BMI ranges have for each category have been set and are listed as follows; underweight: under 18.5, normal weight: 18.5 to 25, overweight: 25 to 30, obese: over 30
Putting all the information on how to calculate the BMI value and the commonly agreed range of classification on one's mind could be very hard, tiresome and stressful. And how good will it be if there is a simple way of calculating and determining the class of the BMI? I'm glad to present you the solution to this in the form of a simple app called **Simple BMI Calculator**.

Simple BMI Calculator is an open source app that helps user calculate the Body Mass Index based on the values of body height and body mass value provided and provide info about the class such body falls into ranging from Underweight, Overweight, Normal weight and Obese.
The app is an effective one that does exactly what it was made, and without further ado, I'll like to delve into the app review proper.

Like I've always done by starting my review with apps User Interface, this will also be done the same way. Here we go;

The app's user interface truly like its name is a simple one. Most of the activities of this app are majorly carried out on this page. They include:
- **Measurement System**: You can choose to enter your height and body mass info using the Metric style (Kg for mass and Metres for height) or Imperial style (Inches for height and Pounds for mass). I personally prefer the Metric system.

**More Information button**: This feature when clicked on opens a URL address that takes users to a Wikipedia page where users can read everything that needs to be known about Body Mass Index results. Analyze and Learn how to deal with any issues pertaining to BMI. A few more features present in the app can be accessed by pressing the menu button (3-horizontal button located at the top right). When clicked, it presents the user with the 'About' and 'Privacy Policy' page as shown below.

#### Comparing Simple BMI Calculator with BMI Calculator (a similar app)
All features present in BMI Calculator is Present in the Simple BMI Calculator but the Simple BMI Calculator has the URL page feature which provides users help to learn more about BMI, how's it's calculated and how it affects the health.
#### Conclusion
Calculating the BMI can sometimes be confusing from some people. This app simplifies everything and makes it easy to use with no extra or maths skill required.
This app is lightweight and doesn't take too much space, and doesn't intrude the users' privacy by requesting for any unnecessary permissions. Also, no ads and your data stays with you.
I totally recommend this useful tool for people. Remember, Health is Wealth!!!
