The Central Bank of Russia will discuss the prospects of Vladivostok as a "Russian cryptolinium"
The Far East Development Fund (FRED) has initiated the creation of the Russian cryptolines in Vladivostok. The proposal is already being discussed with representatives of the Central Bank and the Russian government. This was announced by the Director General of the FRDF Alexei Chekunov, writes RNS.
According to Chekunov, Vladivostok can become a kind of a springboard "for the break-in of technical and regulatory approaches."
"The Development Fund of the Far East is working on the possibility of creating a financial center in Vladivostok. At the same time, a law on the circulation of crypto-active assets is being developed. We propose to combine movement in these directions and create conditions for the formation of a testing ground in Vladivostok. Namely - the Russian version of the cryptodolin, a springboard for breaking into technical and regulatory approaches, "- said the head of the fund.

FDRV experts positively assess the prospect of Vladivostok as a "crypto-hub", pointing to the special economic conditions on the territory of the Free Port and the proximity to Asian capital.
"At present, the investment system" Voskhod "and the FRDF are focused on working with the Central Bank, the government to develop regulatory rules, and analyze risks. Technically, IP Voskhod is ready to start trading with crypto-active assets after the regulatory authorities established the regulatory framework in mid-2018, "said Alexey Chekunov.
Recall, in early February, the RF Ministry of Finance suggested creating special off-shores in Vladivostok and Kaliningrad for organized trading with crypto currency.
