Pumice

**Hello Steemians**

I found this pumice stone in Guatemala.
Pumice is created when  super-heated, highly pressurized rock
is violently ejected from a volcano. The rough texture and 
porosity is due to the rapid depressurization and quick
cooling causing  the gases to exsolve.
Usually light in colour, and very light in weight, it will....

I love rocks, all rocks.  I eat them for breakfast, and this one looks tasty!  Thanks for sharing.  I would have never guessed that this thing would float!

I was a kid, my Aunt taught there, we stayed in a little village of mud huts, no joking, we had the only cement structure for living in. Saw things no tourist ever see...was quite an experience.
