Steemit in the beginning, can sometimes be hard. At first the payouts are not usually what we expect. We have all been there and that is why people have started initiaves to help out newbies. you made my introduction look weak.  I lived in Reno with my wife for a few years.  I love Nevada, but definitely prefer the Sierra Nevada's to Death Valley.

I love your sharing what auditory synaesthesia is with us, with how you see colors when listening to music. I didn't even know that was possible. It must be beautiful. I love music although I can't carry a tune one bit. It doesn't stop be from loving music and enjoying the beauty of it though.

If I can make a suggestion, you should edit your post to add more than the one introduceyourself tag. So more people can see your post. Perhaps #life #music #community and our very own #newbieresteemday tags. We try to show support to newbies as they are starting out.

You like music - - @bengy a person I consider a friend here is a classical violinist that loves music and is also sometimes known as @musicapoetica, They are also members of some of the groups mentioned above and below. All I pretty much do is go around read a lot of post, the ones I like I vote on and then some of them I comment on. All the groups have their promote a post box, and I use them to go and vote and comment, I vote on a lot of post so my vote is not that valuable, but 1 to 3 cents lets me vote a lot, and well, I like voting. So when you get around to discovering Discord chat, drop a post or two of yours in teh promo boxes, and me a nd a few others may drop by and vote.
