It is with much gratitude that I nominate  @mariannewest for all that she does for the freewrite community.  In fact, it was on her daily prompt post that I learned about this contest!
I have always enjoyed writing and love being here on steemit, but when I first joined in February it was very difficult to remain positive when I'd write and post something and absolutely nobody read it.  There is is something very special and supportive about being a part of a community and  @mariannewest works hard at sharing contests, gets up every day to give us a prompt, reads and writes and supports every single day of the week!
