Hello Everyone, @kingmyke here

Motivation is what gets you started; discipline what keeps you going. This is a popular saying and no truer words concerning the pursuit of endeavours of high ideal has ever ben spoken.

Consistency is the single most important factor upon whih success in any field rests upon. Without this single quality, everything will fall down by the way side as time progresses. Consistency is discipline and is the most powerful factor of success in anything in life. 

I learnt from Anthony Robbins, a popular personal development lfe coach, that to be able to build consistency you must create rituals, minute daily activities concerning the direction of the goal you want to attain, and that you must include 
 those rituals in your schedule in order to achieve consistency and success you hope to attain.

Today, thanks to @farhmade, I have been given the opportunity to share with you all the daily life hacks I have included to keep me consistent in Steemit.

### TIMER: NOTHING BEATS BEING REMINDED DAILY

I set a timer on my phone to remind me everyday to engage in the various activities to engage on in Steemit. This includes:
1. Time to make creative contributional posts to my community
2. Time to reply to comments and to drop comments on the posts of people
3. Time to do my assignments and write contest posts
etc

I have time for a lot of things I do on Steemit. This practice helps build habits of resilience and discipline.

### WHATSAPP SOCIA MEDIA

I keep up very actively with my Steemit colleagues on Whatsapp so I can be up to date on all the possible happenings on Steemit. That way I get to know the latest of all on the Steemit community.

We have 3 Whatsapp group for different purposes. 
1 for social interactions
2 for keeping in touch on very official information with our Community co-ordinators and superiors

### HAVING A MOBILE SHORTCUT ON MY PHONE

I have a mobile shortcut on my phone that automatically directs me to the Steemit website. Since I do most of my main work on my laptop, I won't be able to take my laptop everywhere I go. With a mobile shortcut, I can simply go to my Steemit dashboard and do all the smaller, less strenous tasks such as replying to comments on my phone. In that way I remain super productive all the time and build up my activity log on Steemit.

### STEEMIT REDIRECT ICON ON MY HOMESCREEN

Once I open my laptop browser, one of the icons I see is the Steemit logo redirect icon that contains a link to redirect me immediately to the Steemit site. Nothing is a better reminder than seeing something daily, right?

### TAKING NOTES FROM STEEMIT ONLINE MEETINGS

On the online meetings we usually have, I have made it a priority to take notes from all the lessons we are being taught on Discord app. We are taught a lot of things like:
1. How to make our posts more attractive
2. Different tools and apps to use for better editing
3. Words of advice
4. Question and answer sessionse
etc

These have proven very helpul to me because I get to look at my lesson notes periodially to see how other successful Steemitians have done things on Steemit to attain success 

Being regular and attentive on our meetings gives me more drive and determination.

I also go through the accounts of some of my very Steemit mentors to get heavily inspired. When I see how far they've come and all the work they have put into their craft, I feel motivated to keep being consistent and doing mu best.

@whitestallion, the most humble Steemitian and leader I have ever seen.

Their work and resilience has been a big source of inspiration to me.

### CONCLUSION


Everything begins and ends on consistency and it is in the place of consistency that we can become the very best version and do our very best work.

I have learnt to incorporate daily rituals in my life when I have a task or goal I want to attain and this habit has proven super helpful I urge everyone in any endeavor whatsoever to incorporate daily rituals into his or her schedule so as to build habits, good habits that will propel then to the success they desire.

Consistency trumps motivation, confidence or any other thing that is said to bring consistency.

I urge you to be consistent and you will be marveled at the heights you will attain.
