Risk Whatever it Takes

This story was told, a true life story of a young lady who was present in a church service, and while service was going on, the preacher was persuading the congregation to give their lives to Jesus Christ. Some people were convicted and stood up to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. This young lady was convicted, but she refused to accept Jesus. She refused because she had a boyfriend who takes care of her and she was afraid of letting go of him. She cried and wept that really wants to accept Jesus but she doesn’t want to lose him. So, she postponed the decision of accepting Jesus. She was afraid of losing the boyfriend as a result of accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

After the church service ended, while crossing the main road a car knocked her down and she died. After some minutes, the boyfriend came to accident scene and he was told all that had happened. After he was told, he immediately rushed into church and gave his life to Jesus Christ, making a decision to live for Jesus.

A WORD OF ADVICE
The truth is that, there is nothing more important than our relationship with Jesus, it should never be traded for anything. Risk whatever it takes… we should be willing to give up anything for the sake of Jesus Christ. Today, I plead with you to give your life to Jesus Christ, do not postpone it, do not say tomorrow I will. The time to live for Jesus is now, the time to repent is now, you never know if you will have the opportunity again, you never know your last opportunity. The bible says “If you hear the voice of the Lord today, do not harden your heart”

Jesus is STANDING AT THE DOOR OF YOUR HEART, knocking. Will you open your heart for Jesus to come in? Nothing is worth your relationship with Jesus, nothing is worth postponing the decision to accept Jesus. Please dear friends, today is the day of salvation--- come to Jesus today. Risk whatever it takes…

If you’re reading this today, and you know you have not truly giving your life to Jesus, please do it now. Do not procrastinate, do not say tomorrow I will. Now is the time to make a decision to live for Jesus, now is the time to repent, now is the time ………. Not tomorrow…..

It's the only thing with eternal value.  This life is one inch of an eternal rope and worth sacrificing for the eternal part.  Many invest their entire soul into this life and it's tragic.   I don't know how to reach people about Jesus, there's so many shills people think it's not real.

You are right. Unless some major event or problem happens in there life, that is the only time that people nowadays try to know or reach out to God. Good thing about the Steemit platform is that there is no  censorship or we can post anything. This is also one way in which we can share our faith and the blessings that God has given us.
