추억의 야끼만두~!

안녕하세요. 키위파이입니다. 제가 학창시절 일주일에 한두번은 꼭 떡볶이를 사먹곤 했는데요. 그때  항상 못난이만두와 아끼만두 그리고 김말이를 추가하곤 했었습니다. 미국에 있을때 다른건 직접 만들어 먹거나 마트에서 구입할 수 있었는데 못난이만두와 아끼만두는 도저히 구할 수가 없더군요. 

검색해보니 못난이만두는 종로일대에만 판매했었고 지금은 거의 사라져서 서대문 영천시장에서만 판매한다고 하더라고요. 그래서 한국에 오자마자 못난이만두를 공수해 냉동실에 쟁여놓고 먹고있습니다. 그런데 제 입맛이 변했는지 예전에 기억하던 그 추억의 맛이 아니었다는... T^T

위의 사진 맨 앞에 있는 동그란 만두가 못난이만두입니다. 아마 많은 분들이 모르실 거에요.^^ 안에 당면이 가득하고 기름맛의 부들부들하고 고소한 만두입니다. 1개만 먹어도 느끼해서 소스없이 그냥은 먹기 힘들죠.ㅎㅎ 학창시절에는 참 자주먹었었는데 그냥 추억으로만 묻어둘걸 그랬나요?^^ 

그리고 이 못난이만두와 쌍벽을 이뤘던 야끼만두가 있었습니다. 못난이보다는 딱딱하고 당면의 양도 적지만 떡볶이 국물과의 환상의 조합을 보여준 만두였죠. 영천시장에서는 구하지 못해 안타까웠는데 네이버로 검색하니 택배로 주문이 가능하더군요. 그래서 바로 주문해서 다음날 받았습니다. 50개에 단돈 만원!

확실히 제 입맛이 변한 것 같습니다. 어릴땐 이런 맛을 좋아했었나... 하나만 먹어도 느끼했지만 버릴 순 없어 꾸역꾸역 먹고 냉동실로 직행!

다음날 마트에서 구입한 국물떡볶이에 넣어 정식으로 먹어봅니다.

하지만 역시나 예전만큼 즐겨먹을 맛은 아니었어요. 냉동실에 남은 44개의 야끼만두를 어떻게 활용할지 고민해봐야겠습니다. T^T
