Steemgigs [Everyone has something to offer]. GETTING MORE AFRICANS INVOLVED ON STEEMGIGS.
#### Introduction

There are several open source projects in the world today, ranging from mobile apps to desktop apps and even websites, all having distinct characteristics. These open source projects offer amazing services to its users at no cost of utilization. Although these apps are free, they are mostly unheard of and this means it'll take someone to create an awareness of these projects. This is what I do as an influencer and I've conducted several successful campaigns using social media as my medium of disseminating this information.

Steemgigs is a community built on steem blockchain is a platform developed to create an open market where people can offer their services and meet up with interested buyers who will pay for those services. Services offered on steemgigs includes graphic designing, writing, web and app development etc. The major brain behind this project whom I've had a personal conversation with on several occasions due to his occasional visit to the #steembees community on whatsapp had in mind the participants of steemit who couldn't actually write articles on their blogs but have other services they could render, this prompted the creation of the steemgigs platform, this scope is backed up with the steemgigs mantra "Everyone has something to offer".



#### Audience
This project needed a wide range of geographical location because of the viability and importance of the project.
Africa was my target for this campaign. 
I targeted from teenagers to advanced adults 13-65+ years precisely.
Men and women were targets for this campaign. 



#### Activity

I organized an online campaign as social media is the fastest way and most effecient way of reaching out to a large number of people at a time.
I made a post about the steemgigs platform, and like I always do, I explained what the platform was about and how they could join. Since steemgigs is associated with steemit, I also used that medium to link the users reached to check the page for my steemit promotional post.

#### Results

The result from the campaign was amazing. The promotion garnered attention from over 400 people out of the 8,000+ people that were reached. Some people that were reached immediately got into action by clicking on the links provided in the post.

Africa is a great continent with over 50 countries in it. For this post it is surprising to see Libya was the country were more people were reached and this is a good thing because of the challenges there.
