Hello fellow steemians, I trust everyone is doing great as I'm over here. This is my first post in the Steemit Nursery community and is about the diary game. I will be sharing with you my activities today. I hope you enjoy reading it
I woke up at exactly 6:00AM since I planned of visiting my dad farm today. I had just returned from school for vacation on 7th, and having rested for two days, I had to go check the farm up. But before I set off to the farm, I had to iron my dads cloth for school. I quickly did that and set off to farm on foot at 7:15AM

The farm is not all that far from house, so got there before 8AM. I walked fast too since I was alone, my sister followed later.

On the sight of the farm, I was surprised to see almost all major works needed to be done on the farm has been completed by my dad. The major crop my dad grows is maize, followed by rice, then groundnut and sometimes yam. This time around I didn't see yam farm, he only cultivated maize and groundnut and has prepared rice land already waiting for time of planting. Below are pictures I took.

With almost all work done by my dad, I decided to go over to the prepared land for rice cultivation and see if there will be something for me to do there. As you saw the picture of it above, it is a waterlog area with few small hills(mounts) where we don't plant the rice. I therefore thought it wise to plant maize on those hills, since those areas would prefer maize to rice.

By 1:45pm, I was done, very tired and the sun was scorching too. I then rested under a tree for sometime then left the rice land, walked through the maize very happy and proud of my dads work.

By 2:00pm, I left for house. This time around I didn't walk, I had lift from a neighbor farmer on his motorcycle and got home at 2:15pm. I quickly showered and then decided to watch some movie. It was a stressful day though, but I was happy for the work done by my dad.
