How to protect oneself from the sick curiosity of people?

**Curiosity: focus**

We have all been in delicate situations where our interlocutor harasses us with questions that we do not wish to answer. I'm not talking about the police interrogation in front of a blinding light. Rather, I refer to those situations where the distant family wonders about your late celibacy, your plans to have children, your unsuccessful job searches, etc.

These speeches are interspersed with ilfo-yaka. Someone is interfering in your life more than they should and you are too polite or timid to send them over the flowers. You also know that for the general good atmosphere, you should not make waves.

I know this kind of situation very well.

On the advice of my grandmother, I support with dignity. I am silent. And most of the time I pretend or I look like an idiot.

But sometimes it is possible to respond.

Often times when someone shoots you with questions, you are vague at first. Secondly, you respond with a joke. Finally, by a generality or a banality about life.

Finally this is the theoretical manual. In practice, the art of fair repartee; relevant and funny is not for everyone.

The interrogations on my private life annoy me. I know that whatever I say the person I am talking to has his own thoughts on my life and he won't change it anyway. I have no doubt that many of you find yourselves in what I have just said.

And then to the last straw, the interlocutor punctuates his questioning with "I am curious" and ends with a broad smile.

**How to protect oneself from the sick curiosity of people?**

When someone says, "I'm curious." I want to answer immediately: "Well, take care of yourself! ".

It’s as if someone hits you on the head with a stick and then says with a smile, “I’m violent”.

HEALS YOU !!!

Curiosity is a flaw. Don't brag about being curious. It’s like bragging about being a thief, a liar, or a coward.

Curiosity in children is encouraged. It is a sign of fulfillment. Once again, the word is poorly chosen. Curiosity is a flaw. Point.

The child discovers the world, yes. But let's not put the word "curiosity" on it.

In certain situations, faced with people's morbid curiosity, it is possible to respond: "Please allow me not to respond to your indiscretion".

**Curiosity and ourselves:**

Let us be very careful not to upset the people around us. It requires real awareness so as not to be one of those "curious".
