With shapes and colors as diverse as they are varied, mushrooms represent subjects of choice for nature photographers. And if it is possible to find and photograph mushrooms throughout the year, fall is still the preferred season for lovers of mycological images. Here are some tips here.
First of all, there is an almost essential basic principle for the photo of mushroom, it is also a principle that we find in many areas of nature photography: You have to put yourself up to its subject ... easy when you know that most mushrooms grow on the ground or at least close to the ground.

It is not very difficult to find mushrooms, a short walk in the forest or around a meadow will allow you to spot many individuals of often different varieties. However, you will probably need more patience to find the copy that will give a good photo.

If you do not want to come across mushrooms nibbled on all sides, you will have to be reactive and prospect the chosen sector as soon as a good rainy and not too cold period, just when the mushrooms come out of the ground.

Isolated mushrooms do not come out of the same photographic approach. In front of such specimens, all the photographer's art will consist in highlighting the subject either by integrating it into his environment provided that it is suitable for it, or by framing for a tighter portrait.

Of course, you can focus on the photo of the mushrooms and also take advantage of the presence of dead leaves, autumn leaves, to make a colorful and well-typed composition.
