## Thirty days ago, 2019 the New Year. This living activity we call life took more time and gave more of it too. *What have you been up to?*
Believe it or not, the last time we spoke was about a month ago. If you are like me, then you unfollow anyone who hasn't posted in 20 days. How quickly those twenty days come around. Fear not, I am alive and well. 

I missed all the New Year's post and resolutions, have you done your vision board yet? We are officially two weeks into the New Year, I've never seen so many people so motived. The few times I've been to the gym, it has been a madhouse. *Don't go to the gym just yet, wait until they all leave.* Until then, you can tackle everything else on your list. I've noticed people have big goals that tackle the basic areas of their life. Heath, finances, intellect, and it all sounds so great in theory. 

### Checklist of sorts. Starts out simple, then you add subpoints, those are your actions and due dates. Before you know it a simple vision board or list of goals becomes a mission. 

1. Creating [S.M.A.R.T](https://www.hydratemarketing.com/blog/the-importance-of-setting-smart-goals) goals gives you direction they don't however, motivate you to accomplish them. What will is [doing it for youself and writing it down](https://www.daveramsey.com/blog/the-keys-to-achieving-your-goals), what is your *why* for 2019?

2. Goals for each area of your life. For example, [Financial, Spiritual, career and the obviously physical goals](https://www.rachelcruze.com/topics/everything-else/7-areas-to-focus-your-2016-goals).  Which will give you focus for each area in your life. It can also be super ***overwhelming.*** So before you become a vegan, a minimalist, a fitness enthusiast, and a workaholic consider picking a single focus. 

3. Accountability.  Who is going to hold you to those 5:00 am workouts, shopping buddy to keep you from overspending, and pull you up at the three-month mark? The first couple of months set the stage and the next couple is the literal hump of the year. 

4. Summer pressure. Summertime is beach bod time. The pressure to reach those goals or give them up all together is near and dear. During this time and all the seasons to come to remember to breath the sea salt. Feel the sand in your toes. Absorb the sun heat and see the beauty.
