HOW TO MANAGE OLD STEEM POSTS
Hi, all steemians we have already known that the steem reward will be obtained after seven days. After seven days your article will disappear from circulation. A good article is swallowed up by hundreds of posts every day. I think it's a shame .. when I get tired of writing with lots of references, the article can only make money for seven days.

In the following I have several alternatives to recycle old articles on Steem, but all have pros and cons.

1. Publish articles on other platforms such as hive, golos, or other platforms that are similar to steem. This also has a downside, if almost all posts are published on hive, they will be marked by hivewatchers or spamminators. If the account on hive appears, that sign is a sham. When youwant to post on hive , you should edit it first, not exactly the same.

2. Publish on publish0x

To publish here it must be edited totally because publish0x is not decentralized which is anti-censorship. There is an admin who oversees our posts. Therefore, it must be completely overhauled the old article in Steem.

3. Publish on a personal blog

You can publish on personal blogs either paid or free like blogspot. By publishing it on a personal blog your article becomes a property that will be valuable forever. But remember to publish on a personal blog, you should edit the first and last paragraphs because it will be seen by search engines if you copy and paste on your blog so that it won't be indexed. If edited in the beginning and end of the paragraph the search engines do not recognize it anymore.

4. Translate

I translate into Indonesian. My articles on steem are mostly English so I translate them into Indonesian and I publish them on a personal blog. Thus the search engines will recognize it as fresh content, and of course there will be a few edits in the first and last paragraphs.

5. Turn into an ebook

You may have useful tutorial articles or contents. The contents can be used as an ebook to sell or give away on your personal blog.

Ok, those some tips for taking advantage of old articles on steem. Old articles that you may have forgotten can be valuable again with recycling and translating.

Thanks a lot for this great piece, we put so much effort into a post that might just get ignored after it is seven days old and I appreciate the brilliant idea of recycling the post.

That is just an idea because after 7 days our articles can not be monetized in steem

This is actually quite interesting! To be honest, I don't think an article published on Steem lives for seven days only. Of course, you will earn only for seven days, but it is discovered by search engines, and you will have readers for years and years (at least if you write original and good content).

If you decide to publish elsewhere, then I would say to write a brand new article, but you might have the same topic in mind. Just changed the intro and the end will still make it easy to discover as a copy for search engines, and that isn't a positive thing. Translation is very useful and can be very good, and of course, if you are good at writing and you have readers, and eBook is good. But, if you don't really have true followers, nobody will care about your eBook! :)

Translating to my own language is my choice because I have local readers
