 Murree is a famous hill station located in Punjab. Murree has an average altitude of 2,291 meters. Murree was established in 1953 as a hill station for British troops. Murree is the most favorite tourist spot and reason is its pleasant weather. The people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are blessed to have this tourist spot near them. When the weather is hot in Islamabad, people flee towards Murree to enjoy the chill weather in just one hour's drive.    Murree is famous for its Mall road. This Mall road is crowded 24 hours a day and different shops are also located here. On Mall road, tourists can enjoy hot tea, cold Icecream, and many souvenirs shops.     In Murree, you can find every facility for people belonging to every walk of life. If some tourist plans to live there, he can find room from Rs 4,000 to 20,000. Well furnished independent villas are also available on rent. The famous and wealthy people of Pakistan own some big villas there.    The weather of Murree is pleasant all year round but the best time to visit is in November, December when snowfall is started.
