Today, I'll share with all my steemit friends another my favorite travel destination in China—Dali, Yunnan.

Dali is a city with a long history. During the Qin and Han dynasties, Dali was the most important gateway to the southern silk road. Dali played an important role in promoting economic and cultural exchanges between China and Southeast Asia.
Yunnan province is known for its different minority cultures, and Bai ethnic group is a major part in Dali. They are very romantic people, they call themselves are children of the Cang mountains and Er hai lake.( which are most famous mountain and lake located in Dali)

There is a beautiful saying about Dali that : "Cangshan is green, Erhai is cyan, moon is white, mountain of tea is red, wind swings the willow branches, white snow match up with red glow from the sunset".

People always use four simple and beautiful things to express how poetic is Dali, which are "wind, flowers, snow and moon". Even the name of Dali beer is "wind flower snow moon", these four Chinese words, which offer Dali a sense of freedom of vulgarity.

We slept in a hotel with a strong local feature. It has a courtyard, and in our room the part of roof board made with grass which you can see the stars at night.
Dali is probably the hippest town in China. Many people escape from big cities and quit their stable jobs to come here. They open a hostel or cafe, or just simply do nothing, but spend their time under the sun.
Many artists also settle down in Dali, so it’s also an open and inclusive multi-culture place. In the small city people are familiar with each other and friendly.
In Dali you can live the life you want, and no one will look at you with strange eyes. Here you can also feel freedom without restraint, because anyone tries to pursuit freedom.
今天就带大家去往另一个我喜欢的国内旅行目的地—大理。
大理是一座历史悠久的古城。秦汉时期，大理是通往有南方丝绸之路的必经之地。这条通道对促进内陆和东南亚诸国的经济文化交流起着重要的作用。至今在大理白族自治州巍山县还能看到石板上马帮留下来的深深足印。
云南以少数民族众多著称，大理则以白族居民为主，他们性格浪漫，是苍山洱海的儿女。大理当地流传的一句很美的俗语，“苍山绿，洱海青，月亮白，山茶红，风摆杨柳枝，白雪映霞红”。人们需要用“风、花、雪、月”这四种简单美好的事物来表达大理的诗意，连大理啤酒名字都叫“风花雪月”，这样的文化底蕴让大理更加与众不同。
大理大概是国内最嬉皮的小城了。许多大城市的人辞掉收入稳定的工作，来大理开客栈咖啡店书店，或者干脆什么都不干，就是晒太阳打发时间。
许多艺术家都在大理定居，这里的文化包容性很强，创作环境也相对比较自由。小城市里的人都互相熟悉，人与人之间也很亲切，比大城市多了一份人情味。
大理生活闲适，这里的人都过着一种散漫的与世无争的生活，守着苍山洱海和自己的田园梦想。
