<p>Today we will consider the monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky (1595-1657) in Odessa. Odessa sparkles with talents.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Combining the strength and inspiration Glazyrin V. - architect and A. Knyazik - sculptor, there was another beautiful historical monument at the junction of two streets - B. Khmelnitsky and Panteleimonovskaya.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;From the train station you can take tram 5 and tram 28. From the Central bus station by tram number 5. &nbsp;Odessa Privoz is a 5-minute walk away.</p>

<p>Hero of the 17th century-the great Hetman of Zaporozhye B. Khmelnitsky. Brave and courageous, patient and a true commander. Lost my father in Azorsky massacre against the Turks and Tatars. He was captured in Istanbul for two years, but Bogdan does not give up!&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Cossacks paid the money and took away from the captivity of B. Khmelnitsky. There were many victories and failures in the life of this great man. And the attitude of historians to him ambiguous. But he left a trace as the founder of the Cossack Power and the fine commander. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Odessa honored B. Khmelnitsky monument in his honor. History is impossible to erase, just some facts to take, some are not. But our purpose not to understand history, and to look at beauty of a monument which was created by two Odessa persons.</p>

<p>&nbsp;Very subtly conveys the features of the face. Open look Khmelnytsky very attracted. I like this monument. It conveyed the Majesty of the hero of that time and fits very nicely into the architecture of our city.</p>
