I happened to visit the Turkish embassy yesterday. And there is something that impressed me very much.
Namely, several copies of the “Crimea” magazine in English, which tell us what changes took place during the years of occupation in Crimea.

All current problems of the peninsula:
<ol>- a bridge built without security requirements</ol>
<ol>- the fact that the gas in the coastal shelf was extracted by Russia at $ 5 billion</ol>
<ol>- arrests of Crimean Tatars and fines for pro-Ukrainian posts in Facebook (Russians are very fond of saying that none of the Crimeans expresses pro-Ukrainian thoughts, but there are very sad reasons for this)</ol>
<ol>- liquidation of education in the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages ​​(the number of Ukrainian classes dropped from several hundreds to seven)</ol>
<ol>- the information disseminated by Russia that the Crimea was transferred to Ukraine through the tyranny of one of the party's general secretaries was denied</ol>
<ol>- much information on the history of the Crimea, which emphasizes that "the historical land of Russia" can actually count for only a hundred years from the millennials' history, and the majority of Russians on the peninsula came following repressions against the local population</ol>
<ol>- there was also mentioned the violation of property rights in almost all territory of the Crimea, and the destruction of historical monuments.</ol>

I hope that these problems will become more famous in the world. After all, our society against the forcible return of the Crimea, and we can only offer our citizens to go to the Ukrainian territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. And here it is much safer for our citizens.

But Crimea will still have to be free from Russia's occupation, and it is better to do through political and economic pressure on Russia.

I hope that Turkey will support us on this issue, especially because of the affinity of the Turkish and Crimean Tatar cultures.

Довелося мені вчора навідатися до турецього посольства. І є дещо, що мене дуже приємно вразило.
А саме декілька примірників журналу Crimea англійською мовою, де розповідається, які зміни відбулися за роки оккупації у Криму.

Усі актуальні проблеми півострова:
<ol>- міст, що будується без дотримання вимог безпеки</ol>
<ol>- те, що газ у прибережному шельфі добуто Росією на 5 млрд.долларів</ol>
<ol>- арешти кримських татар і штрафи за про-українські пости у Фейсбуці (росіяни дуже полюбляють говорити, що ніхто з кримчан не висловлює проукраїнських думок, але на те є дуже сумні причини)</ol>
<ol>- знищення освіти українською і кримськотатарською мовами (кількість класів українською скоротилася з кількох сотен до семи)</ol>
<ol>- спростовано інформацію, що її поширює Росія, що Крим було передано Україні через свавілля одного з генеральних секретарів партії</ol>
<ol>- дуже багато з історії Криму, де підкреслюється, що “посконно російська земля” насправді може налічувати лише сотню років з тисячолітньої історії, а більшість росіян на півострові пов'язана з репресіями проти місцевого населення</ol>
<ol>- також згадується і порушення прав власності майже на всій території Криму, і знищення історичних пам'яток.</ol>

Сподіваюсь, що ці проблеми стануть більш відомими у світі. Адже наше суспільство проти насильницького повернення Криму, і ми лише можемо запропонувати нашим громадянам виїхати на українську територію, що контролюється українською владою. І тут набагато безпечніше нашим громадянам.

Але Крим все одно доведеться звільнювати, і краще це робити через політичний і економічний тиск на Росію.

Сподіваюсь, що Туреччина в цьому питанні буде нас підтримувати, тим паче через спорідненість турецької і кримськотатарської культур.
