US dollar rebounded and fresh record highs for Wall Street has set the stage for a strong opening in Japanese stocks.

EUR/USD looks bearish and preference is short positions below 1.2230 with target at 1.2100. Alternatively above 1.2230 look for further upside with 1.2330 as target.

On the data slate there’s US Housing Starts; US Building Permits; US Initial Jobless Claims; US Continuing Jobless Claims; US Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Survey; Euro-Zone ECB Coeure Speech; US Crude Oil Stocks Change and US 10-Year Note Auction.
